Koichiro - Divorced parents - works on a wedding agency, and was just dumped by his girlfriend. By an interesting coincidence, his little sister is now attending at a school nearby and, therefore, is going to live with him and his father. What Koichiro didn't expect was to fall in love with his own little sister. Andamento Needless to say, the controversial theme here is 'incest', which basically is the main overall theme. Although somewhat more open minded about this particular subject than western people, it's also a polemic and taboo topic on the eastern, and also not accepted at all. Therefore, Koi Kaze was developed to be a huge controversy poll. Although most of the title focuses on a more 'platonic' love, it eventually escalates to a wide-open romance with some times graphic love. The main focus of the title is Koichiro's point of view, but it still doesn?t leave Nanoka feeling alone and keep the relationship between both clear the whole time, not only for the viewer, but all characters know what is going on. For that, the title doesn?t lose its time with pointless clichés like 'jealousy attacks', and actually goes a more serious - realistic - way that the topic certainly asks for. With a singular visual beauty, an amazing sound track and deep and meaningful characters, Koi Kaze will only annoy one kind of person: Those against Incest. Conclusion Although the title tries to leave the polemic and controversy as a side theme, and focuses on the mutual feelings of the characters, any controversy and 'shock', although in some moments even the characters wonder about that, are left for the sole judging of the viewer, and most people might get themselves thinking what really means incest, what really is love, and some times, 'what if?' or 'who cares?' As a romantic melodrama less title, with lots of passion and humanity, without failing on the artistic (actually one of the pretties art styles around), Koi Kaze promises and delivers, and only those that are too cold at their hearts to see past the taboo will be troubled by it. For the most romantic viewer, it won't necessarily get you to cry your eyes out, but there are certainly some emotional moments in which the sound track does it's magic to ensure you get some tears going ;) Note - Koi Kaze was distributed by fan subs as having only 12 episodes, but eventually an episode 7.5 was released and can (must) be watched between episodes 7 and 8. On the DVD the series is sequential with 13 episodes. Extra note - You will find lots of biased reviews on the internet rating Koi Kaze lower than it should just 'because the theme freaks you out'. So ... be warned, prejudices and pre-concepts run rampart on reviews about this title, but people will hardly give you a REAL down side for this amazing title. Staff & Crew

Before one labels a history as cliché, predictable or beaten, think about this: "What really matters is life and how you live it, not the predictability of Death"
