This adventure happens shortly after the OVA, showing a new menace against the Gods, while Belldandy have to fight her own past. OMG - the movie has nothing to do with the new TV series from 2005, and is still related to the old OVA. Pacing An excellent movie, with a pleasant and light environment and setting, a lot less melodramatic if you compare to the OVA. It still retains most OVA qualities, although it also does not boast a conclusion if you were hoping for one - though it does have an ending feeling to it. Conclusion Oh! My Goddess shows us another 'different' manga part, with some adventure (and even action) and perhaps less melodramatic romance. Aside for that, it's actually a nice stand-alone movie, which could be seen without the OVA. It obviously has the usual OMG franchise clichés, but it's actually a nice call and a suitable movie for your weekend. Staff & Crew

Before one labels a history as cliché, predictable or beaten, think about this: "What really matters is life and how you live it, not the predictability of Death"
