In the future, an asteroid/comet belt is on a direct collision path to Earth. To protect Earth from such thread, the Cosmic Crisis Control Center is created. While the Comet Blasters intercept the asteroids before they reach Earth orbit, the Meteor Sweepers get the eventual fragments that might get past them. Stratos 4 is the story of 4 Meteor Sweepers as they try their best to one day become Comet Blasters. Pacing Stratos 4 have an interesting plot, though kind of cliché, adding a lot of action and nice visual effects at the Meteor missions. Good points stop about here. Although with a slow start, eventually around episode 5 the main (real) plot emerges and might be just enough to let the viewer curious about what is really going on. This is not a top-notch title but is certainly a creative title ... with lots of fan-service. Conclusion A quite silly title with completely predictable and scripted events. Although this is an eye-candy of ecchiness, the plot is quite plain. It has quite a nice start while you suppose the earlier setting is the main plot, but eventually it shifts to such weird concept that you end up getting either disappointed or bored. The lack of plot, the lack of a real closure (though such plot really does not is suitable of a decent ending, though there are some other seasons to Stratos 4 to be explored by the eventual fan) really let the viewer down. When some 'nerds' make fun of the characters speculating that all is actually an alien conspiracy of some kind, little do they know that in reality the main plot is a lot worst and cliché. Perhaps they where pointing to a parody? Without any character development whatsoever (characters interact quite randomly without any predetermined logic or personality), a shallow plot and a confusing direction, Stratos 4 is certainly not a good call for any viewer looking to a minimum value of plot or characters. Before one labels a history as cliché, predictable or beaten, think about this: "What really matters is life and how you live it, not the predictability of Death"
