Eiri is an antique-store clerk helper. One day, as he unpacks an old glass, he starts getting weird visions about a pretty girl inside the glass. With time, he gets used with it and the fact that only he can see her. After some medic and psychological tests, everything seams normal, until one day the girl actually leaves the glass and make a blood-pact with Eiri. She is Cossette, and she died by her fiancé decades ago. Pacing Le Portrait of Petit Cossette is an interesting psychological horror thriller that uses a lot of sudden and weird camera movements, aside from it's dark environment and spiritual themes, to get the creeps out of the viewer (if you get it). Enri falls in love with Cossette, but little does he know that her intentions are not all that concerned with his well being. Both plot and character development focuses on Eiri and Cossette relationship and the connection between them in the past. As the plot unveils itself, we see lots of questions answered and the horror plot starts to entangle itself with other characters and ends up with lots of surprises ... though somewhat predictable. Conclusion Le Portrait of Petit Cossette has a different, but pleasant visual art - although some scenes seams amazing while others quite ugly. A lot of work is taken to give a nice horror and dark environment to the scenario in all 3 episodes. The Eiri and Cossette psychological drama is constant from start to finish, which manages to get the viewer eager to watch the title until the end just to see how it ends and, therefore, 'why' things happens the way they do earlier on the title. The ending is somewhat sudden, leaving a lot to the viewer's interpretation, but most of the plot details are quite obvious and although we have an open end, it can be considered quite finished and a nice closure. Once everything is clear and finished, the title ends, without dragging you into anything not necessary. Staff & Crew

Before one labels a history as cliché, predictable or beaten, think about this: "What really matters is life and how you live it, not the predictability of Death"
