A Spin-off from Di Gi Charat (some call it "Di Gi Charat - Winter Garden"), Winter Garden is a brief romance with the main heroines from the original series, Digiko and Puchiko, except older (Digiko is 20 yo here), and with a less humorous tone. No previous knowledge about the Di Gi Charat series is required. Pacing The main focus is at Digiko and her small love story with Takurou Senba. In just 2 episodes there is not much time to really develop neither the plot nor their relation, but it keeps a pleasant pacing. There are romance, comedy and even drama moments along the way, and for Di Gi Charat fans, the extra curiosity of watching a serios romance with their favourite characters. Conclusion Pleasant and well within the "Make-you-feel-good" (MFG) style, Winter Garden is short but with just the right length. Nothing new here, but certainly a good romance. For all Di Gi Charat fans, this is a must watch, since it's not everyday you can see grown up Digiko and Puchiko, but be warned, Rabi~en~Rose has only a few seconds of screen time. Recommended for any romance fan, or the casual MFG lover. ![]() Anime Opening

54 Watched titles Di Gi Charat - Winter Garden is a warm and lovely title where you don't need to be familiar with Di Gi Charat series to enjoy it and/or understand it. Its not a direct sequel so anyone can randomly pick it up and enjoy it.
Basicaly the story evolves around Digiko and her love with Takurou Senba. Their love is not considered "love at first sight" but it's seen as more of a developing relationship from a first sight encounter. With some dramtic and comedy moments, this love story isn't easily forgotten even though it span through 2 episodes. In conclusion, recommended for anyone into the romance genre. Its a very cute and romantic title where it could have easily extended in a 12 episodes series if they remade it again. Rating: 9/10 ![]()
Before one labels a history as cliché, predictable or beaten, think about this: "What really matters is life and how you live it, not the predictability of Death"
