In 2025, the GGP (Global Government Plan), a rebellion group, staged a quick war against the superstate that controlled the world, and for surprise of everyone, even though it was like an ant against an elephant, they won - they now rule the world recognized as a sovereignty by the U.N.

Ogata Rin is a new ballet Prima-Dona, daughter of the great Ogata Yuki, she shines more than most, and spreads her light whenever she is on stage. Unfortunately, a small accident damages her leg, and she decides to quit ballet altogether. One day, trying to get shelter from the rain, she stumbles upon the Rideback club at the university, where she "meets" Fuego, a rare advanced Rideback, a mix between a robot and a motorcycle that responds to simple commands and to the rider's feeling and balance. She is immediately captivated by it, which seems to enable her to dance once again.

Making new friends at the Rideback club, including a young ballet fan and the top Rideback racer champion Tamayo, little does Ogata know that her adventures with Fuego will put her right in the middle of a serious insurgency between the GGP and the BMA, an insurgent group against the hard military hand the GGP exercises. Not as a fighter, not as a pilot, but pretty much a victim of the circumstances. A nice change to your usual mecha plot.

Astonishing visuals and a decent plotline awaits the viewer of this unique show, which though using the future and mecha backdrop, is actually about how innocent people get involved in issues that they should never actually have to worry about, or how politics, military and even police force can be brutal and unjust to those who can take the role as scapegoats.
