Momo is a Shinigami (Death angel) responsible for taking the city's souls. With a lot of care, she worries about not only with those who go, but more importantly with those who stay, and a lot of times she end up getting involved with people not because they are going to die, but as she says, 'she likes to care for those she is responsible for'

Pacing

Shinigami no Ballad focuses strongly on the characters that Momo is watching or caring. Some times it's a parent, others a friend, or simple someone without nothing to do with a soul she took. Momo's worries about people getting the best out of their lives makes us realize that sometimes we worry too much about small things that, in the long run, really doesn?t matter and will only damage our lives.

The focus thus is only the characters, and some times a little about Momo herself, who 'cries for the souls who are gone, since they cannot cry'.


Conclusion

A very warm and pleasant title, certainly inside the 'Make-you-feel-good', and then again as lots of other titles that focus on Shinigamis (as Full moon wo Sagashite), they are dealt as entities that are extremely good and caring for people.

A nice call for those who want to watch something nice and with a good character development, as well with some drama and romance.
