Well I watched up to episode 3, and I must say, crowns up, this is the worst anime ever, no doubt, no way anything can beat this.

I'm really tired of children pretending to be storywriters. Shinning Tears goes like this:

-Let's make them (best friends) fight?
-But they are stuck on an alternate universe, shouldn't they worry about getting back home?
-Character development my friend, they don't care about their home, beloved ones, life ... they are her for 3 days .. THREE WHOLE DAYS, they forgot about that!
-But ...
-Come on we need more fight scenes! also more scenes where the swords come out of the girls chest!
-Isn't that getting too much screen time?
-hmm ... breasts, that's never too much. It will also seam like we have an intense fight between best friends, people will think this is serious character development!
-Why they fight? for no reason?
-Who needs a reason for a good fight? we make up one later ...
-But what about continuity...
-What's that? anyway, just do it!
-Ok, but we don't have enough artists so a fight is a stop-motion of 2 swings and it MUST end or we will blow our budget
-Whatever, nobody will note every fight lasts 10s with 2 frames!
-Who wins?
-Hmm ... they are best friends so nobody?
-Cool! what about when they finish the girl they like get randomly kidnapped right off their noses when they finish?
-But they are the most powerful warriors on the world, that's not possible, is it?
-hmm ... they were distracted by the pep talk the kidnappers?
-Good, so ... she is kidnapped and they now need to rescue, so OBVIOUSLY they go each on their own way!
-Yeah! and we show one of them almost dying in the desert thinking about her! while the others are planning to rescue her
-Sure, and they go, but we can't let the other not take part on this ...
-Hmm ... when they rescue her up the 5Km tower the other will show up FROM THE WINDOW! he climbed the tower all by himself!
-Wasn't him in the desert dying?
-Who cares?
-Didn't they just fight each other for no reason?
-Who cares? we will just add lots of melodramatic thinking while he was dying, about he being jealous of the other! See, I told you I would come with a reason later
-er ... right ... and they rescue her with no resistance
-Just add a fight with one general while they go up, it will take 10s anyway...
-erm ... and the kidnaper wasn't the king of a nation with 5 powerful generals?
-They are not there, who cares ... do it already, deadline is tomorrow
-Ok!

Are you still following it Kero? After 2 episodes, I deleted it immediately and I never looked back.
Most of the time, I was half asleep.

still stuck at 4 but I will finish it (in this century I hope) so I can review it with lots and lots of bias

Ok, I have to admit it, I decided to keep going and after a still lame episode 5, things start getting fine, and by episode 10 they are actually above average. I have the clear impression they shuffled a 26 episodes script into 13 and for that they had to rush as hell with the earlier character introductions: the first "arc", which is about the first 5 lame episodes, is quite stupid and the characters are not believable, but after that they manage to get real, and they even make some flashbacks to explain the character reactions earlier on the show as if saying "yeah, sorry about those lame episodes, here is a proper explanation why characters acted so random" xD~

episodes 1~5 would get a 0 rating from me, episodes 6~13 would get a 7~8 rating, so avarage let's keep it at a 5 out of 10 xD~

Yet, I have to say, Tony Taka beauty artworks shine all the way thru specially as you start to care for the characters. It's a shame all other works he did are hentai anime T_T Nobody can make pretty elfs like he can.
