I watched up to episode 4, which pretty much is the introduction for this series.

I was looking foward to this series based on the previews and theme, but I have to say that I'm quite disapointed. I was hoping for an exciting sci-fi thriller and by episode 4 I felt I was watching a slightly revised version of Dragon Ball Z. The "heroes" fight with superpowers based on telekinesis/telepathy. It fails to me why they set an promissing plot at an futuristic world and than smashed it with superpowers. The main character is weak and childish, reminds me of a Shinji (Evangelion) without real reasoning. The fact that so far the series also lack any romance or hint to it also bugs me, not that I don't like series without romance, but there is not a single relationship, even friendship or whatever, it's a one-man-show and that one man is a open book of childish thoughts.

In short, hard to grasp. I will keep watching since that I believe they can do better, I won't accept they managed to destroy such good start and premisse, so I'll give them the chance to say "we were just introducing the characters". But honestly ... I don't think it will get much better than this.

A shame, really a shame. I seriously start to wonder if we will ever get any good series this year, since all series that are (hoped to be) good are remakes or sequels (Higurashi, Zero no Tsukaima, to name a few).
