Starting March 13th 2008, only VIP members can post at the image gallery. Works from members who were not selected to VIP status remain, but can be edited or removed by their authors as they wish.

To check if you are a VIP member, either try the submit button, or see at your profile if the first line says you are a VIP member.

Due to lack of respect from users not paying attention or even feedback, posting low quality materials and annoying the moderation team, and more importantly, they lack of donations to cover the increased traffic and downloads from the site latelly, this was the best option rather than totally close the gallery. In this way, only the best wallpapers will get posted, reducing quantity, increasing quality, and thus also reducing our download traffic (and the annoyance of explaining to a blind member why his wallpaper sucks)

If you want to become a VIP member, simply post a link to your work portfolio here (personal site, wallpapers in another gallery site,e tc..). The moderation will check it out and eventually reply to you personally (PM most likelly). To avoid any resentment, we will delete your post from this thread so nobody sees you were accepted/rejected.

This site is owned by Wisp and Shirahime, and moderated by Miriambr, Anoca, Overbond, Solwyvern and Shikonx. Their opinions are what makes this move. If you think your awesome works should have been accepted as VIP status, that's your problem, and the world (nor your world) will not get ruined if you cannot post your works at this mediocre site.

A new Daisuki version, with better VIP options and a new portal will be made ... eventually.

Small note: there is still a moderation queue even for VIP members ... this will only be removed in the next Daisuki update, which might take monthes to come.

Just 2 wallpapers hardly count as a portfolio, but you sure know your stuff, so the question is, do you plan on doing wallpapers or you want vip status to up 2 wallpapers and never more? =p

well you have a point 8D my school year is about to start, so I don't know how much free time I'll have to wall but currently I have some WIPs I'm working on.
